Sigillo Cellars 2015 Petit Verdot
Published: July 11, 2018
This is a seamlessly structured 100% Petit Verdot that presents dark fruit elegantly balanced with earthy and savory nuances. On the nose, dark berry jam mixes with floral aromas and notes of baking spices, dark chocolate and dried herbs. On the palate, flavors of blueberry and plum skin mix with notes of cocoa and earthy florals alluding to violet and lilac before revealing a textured minerality that extends through an elegant finish showing more dried herbs with a lingering acidity of tart black cherry. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
