Sinclair Estate Vineyard 2014 Vixen

This red blend is comprised of 51% Mourvedre, 27% Grenache and 22% Syrah. On the nose, aromas of blueberry mix with gingersnap cookie, lavender and hints of black peppercorn and smoke-cured salami. On the palate, this wine is rich with purple fruit balanced with spicy and earthy flavors. It alludes to a sauce of dark berries with clove spice, dark chocolate and notes of black tea and dried herbs. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
