Skylite Cellars 2013 Soiree
Published: October 23, 2017
The red blend consists of 41% Malbec, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot and 11% Syrah. On the nose, it's big and complex with dark, jammy fruit, cedar, pipe tobacco and notes of menthol, black licorice, Allspice and a touch of dried herbs. Beautifully structured on the palate, flavors of blueberry and black cherry are upfront, but are balanced with earthy notes of violet, peppery spice and cola with a graphite minerality showing on the lingering dry finish.
