Terra Vina Wines 2016 Renegado

Renegado, from Wilsonville, Oregon's Terra Vina Wines is a non-traditional Spanish varietal red blend that includes 43% Garnacha, 43% Tempranillo and 14% Monastrell (Mourvedre). On the nose are pleasing aromas of dried blueberries, coffee, cigar box, baking spice and damp aromatic cedar. On the palate, it delivers flavors of cocoa-dusted blueberries with a persistent under-laying minerality, finishing with notes of dark chocolate. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
