Tertulia Cellars 2017 Tierra Labrada Elevation Vineyard Merlot

This Merlot from Tertulia Cellars showcases fruit from their Elevation Estate Vineyard, one of the highest in Walla Walla with soil described as silt and fractured basalt. On the nose, it presents blackberry jam with notes of vanilla, sweet tobacco and baking spice. On the palate, a nicely rounded mouthfeel shows remarkable balance of fruit and earth, hinting at red plum, violet and leather with tannins carrying notes of mineral on the structured, dry finish.
