Trella Vineyards 2016 Gruner Veltliner

Austria's popular white wine grape has found a home in Oregon's Umpqua Valley and this one from Roseburg's Trella Vineyards offers aromas of fresh green herbs and lemon balm that mix with light aromas of tree fruit and hints of white pepper and beeswax. On the palate, flavors of lime and grapefruit grab you upfront and linger through the mid-palate with emerging notes of flinty minerality and saline on the bright finish.
