This red blend of Bordeaux varietals includes 50% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot. An alluring nose displays dark fruit alluding to spiced plum sauce with complex notes including black peppercorn, bay leaf, cedar and sweet tobacco. On the palate, blueberry, dark chocolate and Allspice find a nice balance before a finish hinting at graphite and dried herbs. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
