Warr-King Wines 2016 Merlot Red Mountain

This Merlot from Woodinville's Warr-King Wines is a nice expression of Red Mountain fruit with rich and earthy character. It presents aromas of dark berries, chocolate and baking spice on the nose. On the palate, it offers textured flavors of black cherry and blueberry with upright tannins that carry earthy notes of finely ground expresso, violet and a lovely spiciness on the polished finish.
