Westport Winery Duckleberry Grunt (non-vintage)

This wine is a combination of blueberry juice, and Gewurztraminer grapes from Washington's Yakima Valley. On the nose, it offers aromas of juicy nectarine, sweet dried cherry and orange peel. On the palate, the blueberries are expressive, but are beautifully balanced by bright notes of apricot and orange marmalade. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
