Williamson Vineyards 2014 Reserve Petite Sirah

Caldwell, Idaho's Williamson Vineyards uses Snake River Valley fruit in this Petite Sirah. It offers complex aromas of dark fruit mixed with notes of black pepper, menthol, sweet tobacco and smoky charcuterie. On the palate, it delivers flavors of blueberry and dark chocolate that are nicely balanced with earthy notes alluding to dried mushroom and coffee grounds. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
