Zanatta Winery 2018 Fantasia Brut

This white sparkling wine is made from Cayuga, an early ripening hybrid wine grape mostly grown in New York. This one from British Columbia's Vancouver Island was made in traditional Champenoise style and is aged on the lees for a minimum of three years. It presents aromas of green apple and zesty citrus with hints of herbal-floral notes. On the palate, it hits crisp notes of Asian pear upfront with gorgeous expansive acidity emerging on the mid-palate alluding to Meyer lemon that lingers through the finish.
